Title:   Room 5 - Deposit within structure 75
Category:   Deposit
Notebook:   1111
Context:   74
Date:   2016/06/08
Stratum:   25% tiles; 20% stones: 10% coarse pebbles, 10% medium pebbles
Description:   The soil color is dark reddish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   -74 is of similar consistency as 63, with slightly greater amount of stones and tiles; 74 is slightly siltier than 63.
-Mixed: reddish black earth on top, siltier greyish black underneath
-Excavation of soil within possible bin to clarify the use of this structure in the NW corner of Room 5.
-Soil is similar consistency and color as context 63, but is separated from the rest of 63 by the door jamb; may be contemporary fill.
-Underneath initial harder reddish earth, earth below is softer and siltier. This may be fill of he structure.
-Structure seems to be a bin in the corner of the room, as it is enclosed by stones on its E. side and by a reused door jamb (which seems to have been recut from a column) laid on a bed of stones and tiles.
-Context seems to extend down to a lower elevation than floor level exposed in context 63 and therefore may be an earlier construction; in addition, stone bedding for door jamb visible from inside of bin, but not from exterior.
-At bottom of context were revealed large, irregularly-shaped stones, approximately 20-25 cm in length.
