Context:   76
Date:   2016/06/08
Stratum:   20% stones: 10% coarse pebbles, 10% medium pebbles; 20% tiles
Description:   The soil color is dark reddish black. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   -76 is less well-sorted with more inclusions than 63; 76 is similar in consistency and color to 75.
-Context 76 is excavation of small semicircular area, .5m across. This was done to remove the base of the vessel uncovered in context 63.
-Upon excavation of 76, the two large stones lining the E. side of structure 75 were removed, as they don't seem to be serving any purpose.
-Level underneath context 76 seems to be more well-sorted and compact, and this seems to be an earlier level, likely the same level as that revealed under 72. This surface seems to extend into the space occupied by context 74 (inside structure 75, which may no longer be a bin), possibly continuing underneath the large rocks exposed after context 74 was excavated; these rocks may therefore be lying on the same earlier surface level.
