Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the SThe soil color is light yellowish grey. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   B118 is the clay surface under B106 and above the darker clay first revealed under B97. It is probably equal to B113; B118 was not dug as the same basket only because it was separated physically from B113 by a spur of B110.
It turned out during excavation that B118 did not actually rest on the darker clay surface, because it was realized during excavation that B118 was much smaller than originally thought. The clay to the south that does rest on the darker clay surface (excavated as B122) first revealed by B97 will be dug as a new basket (B119).
There is soil underneath B118, just as there is underneath B113 (soil excavated as B129).
