Notes:   [Recorded in the field with Kris Lorenzo].
EXCAVATION NOTES:
Large basket of soil under clay floors and extending to the east.
A more reddish soil has primarily been exposed under B129. Also a harder lighter deposit in area ca. 271.50E and 1003.31N to 1004.49N (excavated as B132).
The bottom of B192 also starting to uncover the top of what may turn into a N-S wall, perpendicular to the potential E-W wall projecting into pit cut = B71.
On second thought, it is more likely that there is just an E-W wall that projects into the pit, and that the stones to the N. and S. come from this wall. [Later note: nope, the first impressions was correct! There is a N-S wall, that appears to make a corner with the E-W wall].
In the area where the corner of the walls was discovered (ca. 1006N to 1007.20N and 268E to 269.50E), it may be overdug; the entire area is noticeably lower in elevation. I believe the foreman got carried away in defining the top of the wall stones.
