Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is slight. The soil color is very dark pinkish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Basket 169 is the very dark pinkish black soil area in the North of B168. We decided to do it because we believed that it ovelay the destruction layer at the west of the NS wall at 269E, since tile fragments are visible just north of it.
When we finished the basket, we discovered that there was not a destruction layer but a pit just below it. This pit cuts the destruction layer at the west of the NS wall at 269E.
