Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We open 398 to remove a fill context N of the floor revealed under fill 394. We remove this fill because we want to know if the floor under 394 is also under 398, that is, we want to know the N limit of this floor. Also, this fill is stratigraphically later than the floor revealed uner fill 394.
We start in the S, attempting to see if the floor continues. A bit more is revealed in the SE, but it then slopes down and peters out. At this point, we decide to take this fill out more aggressively, to see how this are related to the floor to the S.
Upon completion of this pass, all we can see is mixed fill, and perhaps the W side of a N-S robbing trench. But, this is uncertain. This fill now revealed seems to run underneath the floor revealed underneath contxt 394, so we discontinue excavation in this area.
