Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Excavation began in the small square bounded by wall 376 to the north end and wall 306 to the east. The square is bounded on the south and west by the scarp of the excavation. The diggers think the soil is the same color as that found in 434 on top of the roof tile deposit. The diggers dug through this soil until reaching a reddish soil below. A pit was also revealed in the southwest corner of the square that cuts the reddish soil. It is filled with a blackish soil and only 1/4 of the pit is revealed.
