Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Because of a rain delay we began digging this section which is bounded on the S and E by cut 272, by the excavation scarp on the W, and by the scarp of the hill on the N.
Later Notes, 2/4/09: We continued work in this context this morning. The goal was to remove the black soil revealed in 435. We decided to stop working in this context in order to resume excavation in context 441. Note that we haven't reached the end of the context: this is an arbitrary stop. We swept and closed the context.
