Stratum:   The soil is a thin layer overlaying the clay floor beneath.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the NE. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the NEThe soil color is light brownish red. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We removed a thin layer of soil that was covering the white clay floor below. The purpose of B 5011 was to isolate the extent of this floor. In clearing this soil, we picked up six coins. Some of the floor was protruding through this layer, so B 5011 removed soil only in places where the floor was not evident.
