Notes:   We are trying to isolate the cut of a possible pit, which lies NNW of Bothros 7 in the west half of Room F. It appears to us that this NNW pit cuts Bothros 7, and we will need to excavate the fill before continuing to excavate Bothros 7. The extent of the NNW pit is indicated by a grey, ashy soil (its presumed fill). We are able to see the cut of this NNW pit quite clearly after only a few minutes. We are going to continue to clear the area E of the NNW pit to determine to what extent, if any, it continues to the E.
