| Notes: | We are digging an ashy layer N of Bothros 7. We are trying to clarify the stratigraphy in this area. This ashy soil comes down onto a dark brownish red soil with no ash in it: here we switch baskets to B 5043. We thought this might be a lens of fill in a pit, but it does not seem to have a defined border like I'd expect for a pit - I think it must be dumped rubbish. | |
