Stratum:   A very soft dark reddish brown poorly sorted sandy silt with 50% inclusions of small stones and broken tiles, some large sherds (C5 latest).
Description:   Top slope of the context is moderate down to the W. Bottom slope of the context is moderate down to the WThe soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   After pulling out the large squared limestone orthostate block (B 5051), we are excavating the fill under the wall as a separate context from the wall itself (B 5051).
This context is full of sherds, broken tiles, and stones.
We are now able to phase three walls:
The N wall of Room F, E is the earliest. It was built up to on both sides by the potatostone wall (2nd). Then the E end of the N wall of Room F, W (3rd) was put in up against the N wall of Room F, E and the potatostone wall, on the one side, and the N wall of Room F, W on the other side, to fill in (presumably) a doorway. I suspect that the N wall of Room F, W, west section, which is of similar construction to the N wall of Room F, E, is actuall the same wall.
The pottery is no later than C5 (provisional field analysis).
