Stratum:   Clayey surface over a light reddish brown sandy silt with 20% inclusions: stones, small pebbles.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the SE. Bottom slope of the context is slight down to the SEThe soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We have decided that there is nothing like a foundation trench along the N face of the N wall of Room F, or any other reason at this level to separate the area N of the N face from the rest of the surface.
We are excavating the clayey surface that looks floor-like in the whole E half of the Room N of Room F, W.
We are avoiding an area near the crosswall because it appears to have far more inclusions that this context.
As we approach the crosswall, however, we are not finding a clear cut and so we have to continue, although we expected otherwise. We are coming down on more stones extending the crosswall to the N, but only by a few centimeters.
