Notes:   B5123 was revealed by B5114. It is a cut similar to B5122. Because B5123 is semicircular it is possible that it was cut against the E side of wall 20 (NB228), unless the other half of it was excavated during the 1961 excavations. A fragmented vessel that was identified as a piggy bank (top el. 85.73, bottom el. 85.64) was removed from the pit and was sent to the museum together with the soil in it for conservation and analysis. More of the upper courses of wall 20 (NB228) were revealed and the basket was stopped at this point.
