Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   The context 5272 was defined as being a pile of tiles embedded in softer soil. There were removed because of their higher elevation and the assumption that they were on top of the redder surface. When they were removed, they were in fact sitting on the surface, which now extends to the scarp at the southeast corner. The removal of the tiles also revealed the division between the fill of debris which is at the southwest corner of our area and the redder surface. It is now clearer that the redder surface overlies the fill of debris at the southwest.
