Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is very soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silt.
Notes:   We discovered this cut/deposit when exploring the south part of clay foor because the soil is black and soft, like recent topsoil, full of roots, some fresh. The context includes a goat skull chopped in half with horn sawn off. As the robbing trench goes down and it cuts into the line of the southern E-W wall. At the bottom of the robbing trench, it was clear that a number of stones and possibly a block was robbed out from the southern E-W wall. We could continued south outside this room, but choose not to at the moment, in order to to stick to our excavation questions about the use of this area to the North. There is a strong possibility of contamination due to potential of pottery from the southern most scarp falling into our excavation area.
Boundaries: Sharp change due to stones of the southern E-W wall.
