Description:   The context shape in plan is irregular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are mixed. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: none.
Notes:   Sides: north side tapers but south side is vertical cut, east side is linear along wall 5360, south side is linear, with a 45 degree angle between east side and south side. West and north side are curved.
The deposit that filled this pit was distinguished by the high concentration of roof tile inclusions. Also it came to a higher elevation than the surrounding deposit. The soil of the deposit was characterizeed as dark and soft. The sides of the pit do not show clear change from fill in terms of inclusions beyond the first 0.15m; the walls of the pit reveal the lower deposit into which the pit was cut and are also very rich in tile and rubble inclusions. However, the soil of the cut is firmer and more yellowish, and the behaviors of the soil within the pit as it was excavated do attest to the cut; it was possible to sweep away the dark dirt from the cut with fingers. The similarity of the inclusions in the surrounding layer is unsettling.
Modern backfill-see 5369. This cut is likely an erroneous interpretation.
