Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   We are excavating the earthen surface running along Walls 5411, 5284, and 5216, moving from west to east, then north to south, and then east to west. Taking away the yellowish surface, we got reddish brown soil beneath. We encouter root growth from under where wal 5285 used to be. We are also exposing a similar yellow clay floor. Also, on one of the stones of 5411 exposed by the removal of Wall 5285, we clean out soil from a cutting that could be a doorjamb. There was plaster on top of this soil (see 5415). Because the deposit of the floor filled the cut, it is interpreted as a later feature than the phase in which the doorjambs set in 5411 were in use.
