Stratum:		inclusions: 10% sub-rounded medium and small pebbles.
Description:		Top slope of the context is slight down to the E. The soil color is light brownish grey. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:		This context is a patch of dark, softer soil adjoining the red clay floor 5920. It abuts threshold 5919, and we interpret it to be a leveling fill for a depression in the clay floor. It also has significantly fewer tile and pottery fragments than 5920. It is also possible that this could be part of a foundation trench for threshold 5919, as several contexts in this area have been softer along the threshold 5919. Later notes: Further excavation showed that this is likely not a foundation trench, but rather a leveling patch as we initially thought.
