Stratum:		5% subrounded small, medium and large pebbles. 6008 is looser and yellower than 6005. 6008 is yellower and looser than 6028. 6008 is yellower than 6029.
Description:		Top slope of the context is slight down to the SE. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is well sorted. It is clayey sand.
Notes:		This context is a soft loose soil that sovered a floor abutting wall 10083 and its threshold. This soil was expsed under cleaning 5999 and was differentiated by 6005 to the W by its looser, yellower soil. When we removed this context, we exposed more courses of 10083 (probably foundations), soil under 10083's threshold and a compact floor (6028) with heavy pebble inclusions sloping N-S. There is also evidence for a foundation trench (6029) along 10083 so we are closing this unit and cleaning up to the N to see if this trench continues N of the threshold.
