Notes: | Context 6038 is the foundation trench for wall (5463), which flanks the north side of the courtyard. A part of this feature was excavated in 2008 as context (5903). Context 6038 is part of context 5960 on the north side of the wall, which was also partially excavated in 2008 as context 5573. Excavation of this context will hopefullly give us information on the sequence of wall construction for this room. NB Foundation trench (6038) is cut in the East by (5702), i.e. cut for pit (5716), and in the West. Unfortunatly context 6038 ran so deep, it was not possible to excavate the bottom. Entire contents of context were dry sieved. | |
