Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is well sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   After excavation of 6042, the robbing trench west of pit 5935, the line of the cut for the robbing trench seemed to continue east along the north edge of the pit below 5937, which we excavated as the fill of the pit. Here there is a relatively linear cut that runs to a stump of wall and seems to be oriented in line with the robbing trench 6042. The S extent of the cut appears to have been truncated by the cut of the large pit 5935 if this is a robbing trench.
We opened 6046 as the possible continuation of robbing trench 6042, but as the interpretation did not seem extremely straight-forward, we decided to keep the two as separate contexts.
The fill of the trench had a large amount of roof tiles and other pottery and medium sized stones, making the matrix similar to that of 6042.
