| Notes: | Wall/foundation 6181 was excavated. This structure being equal to wall 5552, seems to have abutted and integrated itself into 6171. This relationship was not clear until the removal of 6171, and is evidenced by the less-carefully placed masonry of 6181, as compared to the remaining foundation structure of 6171. Soil should be noted as being much drier and much softer than the soil from 6171, even though excavation took place in the early morning. | |
