Notes:   Context 6248 lay beneath wall 5508 in the southern end of courtyard of the Byzantine house. In the east, 6248 abuts a floor surface which corresponds to a floor excavated last year in the courtyard and perhaps another context to the south.
Below this context was revealed part of another tile fill, which extends to the south. We will perform a cleaning in this heavily trafficked area to determine the extent of the lower tile fill.
Context 6248 likely equivalent to 2008 context 5679.
