Description:   Structure materials: poros. Material size: 0.40 x 0.35 x 0.21. Material finish: squared. Material construction: n/a. Material bonding: None. Features: Part of wheel rut on western face.
Notes:   Structure 6319 is a small pier block of poros located in area southwest of the courtyard of the Byzantine house against north face of wall 5285. The block has associated foundation trench (6331, cut 6332). Block appears to be cut from Roman paving stone with evidence of tool marks on its sides. On west face of stone appears to be preserved part of wheel rut.
Removal of associated foundation trench showed that the poros block built up on stone and tile showing that it is a deeper structure than initially expected.
