Description:   The context shape in plan is rectrangular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is sharp. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: Truncated in east by foundation trench 6314 for wall 5285..
Notes:   Context 6332 is cut for a foundation trench for a pier block (6319) laid against north side of wall 5285 immediately SW of courtyard of Byzantine house. Along with pier block 6337, they seem to have formed a type of entranceway, but they do not appear to be threshold blocks. Foundation trench fill is 6331 and is identified on the north, west, and east sides. Truncated on east by a big foundation trench 6314 for wall 5283 which indicates that the pier block (6319) is earlier than the wall. Dating this foundation trench should help clarify relationship in this part of the house of various structures.
