| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light yellowish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt. | |
| Notes: | 6361 was opened upon the closing 6360. Although there is no appreciable difference in the soil, we are diggin the well in 20-30 cm passes to keep track of potentially subtle changes. The context is filled with organic matter such as bones, eggshells, and fish scales, so we have saved one 30L sample for water sieving. Nearly complete pots are coming from this context. The soil remains very ashy. 6361 was closed on a technical change (30 cm) as part of 0.30 passes due to the depth of the well. 6365 continues below. | |
