| Description: | Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand. | |
| Notes: | 3.4.2012 We began digging in the southeastern corner of the room in order to investigate a blonder soil that also appears in the southwestern corner. This soil bounds a darker, looser soil that continues northeast of wall 366. A set of tiles on the southern end of wall 332 may be leveling a surface of a threshold (536) given the difference in construction. We are dry sieving everything that is dug out of this section. A small hole on the northern end appears and is filled with harder, darker soil. Pockets of a white, clayey soil are dispersed randomly throughout the darker soil. Charcoal deposits were found during the dry sieving so we set aside a basket of soil for a soil sample. | |
