Description:		Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:		6469 was opened after 6455 was excavated 35cm (artificial boundary). A note on inclusions: percentages are based on ooking at the soil in the buckets. Some buckets have fewer than others so 10% is a bit of an average. We can't see wha the soil looks like in the well as it is being excavated. See 6438 and 6447 for personal observation of soil as it was excavated. The soil of 6469 continues to come up dark greyish brown like 6455. Roof tiles, cobbles, bone continue. The dry sieve revealed a large number of fish scales and egg shells. 27.5.09 Notes: Soil has been more moist this context. Guy Sanders notes that there also may be some characterisitic of the soil which is degrading the glaze on the pottery, or at lease the glaze on the pottery is in poorer condition. The context was closed after approximately 0.30m.
