Description:   Top slope of the context is steep down to the SE. The soil color is dark brownish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   We excavated 650 as a separate context from 708, although the soils are very similar, as a precaution. 650 appears to consist of hard-packed, more limestone-rich material than the contexts overlying it, and has an ashy appearance. The surface dips toward the center of the room, forming a bowl onto which other, later context accumulated.
