| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark greenish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy clay. | |
| Notes: | Context 6524 was begun as the final context of the well, since it was getting more difficult to excavated and we were concerned about safety. 15 buckets of soil were removed and then the context was closed. The buckets were full of water and wet sticky mud. Instead of being laid out to dry, the material was washed in the water sieve. The well was closed at an elevation of 73.03. | |
