Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   6535 is a lens of fill in the southeastern part of the room, in the area of the large disturbance and alternating tile and dirt fills. This area lies under 6338 and the cleaning pass 6533 below 6338. We returned to this part of the room after two weeks excavating well 6288. Therefore the soil was very dry and hard because of exposure and foot traffic. We excavated the strip south of pit 6224 as 6235.
We had determined that 6535 was a fill that covered the west end of a tile dump lying against wall 10086. 6535 revealed a westward sloping heap of tiles east of wall 10086, a stretch of non-tiley fill west of the tiles, and a deposit of tiles and rocks to the east.
