Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   6547 was opend as fill with a moderate amount of inclusions that appeared to be overlying softer darker soil to the west and harder, more compact fill to the east, reaching wall 6426 to the south and cut by 6024 and pier robbing trench to the north. If it is also cut by 6546 and 6545, the continuation of the east post hole at the NW corner (post hole 6193 & 6194). Thanasis is taking one pass to see if we might have a robbing trench for 6421and to remove this overlying fill. Thanasis continued excavating north of where we had agreed, into the fill and the well packing. He dug perhaps 5 cm down into this fill. We stopped him as soon as we noticed. This fill was cut by softer fll to the west, below the possible staircase element. We will clean up and decide what to do. 6547 was closed at this point. It looks now that 6547 is no different then the fill below.
