Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brownish grey. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This context was located along the south edge of the well packing and was identified during the digging of the previous context 6622. The context 6625 was harder and sunbaked from exposure during the excavation or it may have been a floor level associated with the use of the well, since it apeared to be at the same level as the top of the well-packing (at places it appeared to go up on to the well-packing). We also wanted to remove this soil packet because it was unclear if the red soil went underneath 6625 - excavation revealed that the red soil did indeed go beneath.
