House. This hearth was truncated to the south and the west by later pits. Only the N-E portion of the ring survives. We've moved into this room in order to excavate this hearth before we end the season tomorrow, so that the hearth won't sit exposed during the off season. Excavation of context 6651 has revealed that the hearth itself is constructed of packed reddish clay. The hearth is a ring only which bottoms in another fill context.
