Stratum:   sandy silt with 50% inclusions: pebbles, spherical and angular cobbles, ceramics
Description:   The soil color is light yellowish grey. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   We are excavating patches of floor in the northern half of the room W of the courtyard of the Byzantine house. The floor was distrubed by the north pit and as a result is heavily damaged, however, the fill beneath this floor seems to be the same as that beneath floors 6668 and 6670, so we think they are different parts of the same floor.
