Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is coarse sand.
Notes:   In removing wall 5430, we uncovered an irregular lump of accumualted debris and soil, that was resting against the West face of the wall. Context 6723 is above the clay surface revealed by 5413. It is most likely a natural accumulation of material, commonly occuring against walls and in corners (although note that 6723 does not run as far South as the EW wall 5562). Once removed, the context revealed more of the clay surface and part of a cut for a pit (= 6726).
