Stratum:   20% inclusions: small to medium pebbles, tile, small flecks of calcium carbonate, pottery; surface is very compact.
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is weakly cemented. The soil is poorly sorted. It is coarse sand.
Notes:   Context 6825 is an external floor surface revealed by the excavation of 6819, a later external floor surface. The surface 6825 is located along the Northern baulk of the area and was cut on the North-West by pit 5788 and partially along the West by robbing trench 5802. The soil of 6825 is extremely compact, reddish-brown in color, and with ca. 30% inclusions of small to medium pebbles, tile, pottery, small flecks of charcoal and calcium carbonate. It is more compact than the later external floor surface, 6819.
The excavation of 6825 has revealed a stratum of looser soil with larger inclusions of tile and rocks. This stratum is nearly identical to that revealed by the excavation of 6819 further to the South and East.
