Notes:   During the excavation of 6846, four tiles were noticed along the south side of wall 6526. After cleaning, these were measured and it was noticed that one tile (the westernmost) was partially wedged under a tile in wall 6526. When the four tiles were removed, vertical tiles were apparent; the structure was recognized as a grave and the vertical tiles as those lining the grave. A vertical tile on the north side of the pit had fallen over the arm and ribs of the interred. The fill was removed and all of it is being wet-sieved (cf. 6857). The skeleton was removed (cf. 6862) and then the side and bottom tiles were removed. The skeleton appeared to be that of a child.
