Stratum:   10%mostly medium pebbles with some cobbles and coarse pebbles, angular spherical and tabular.
Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Fill of cut 7136. The bothros ( NB 228, bothros 4) was originally revealed in the 1961 excavation. Some sediment had accumulated since then, so there is heavy contamination in the finds (also some bioturbation). The bothros abuts wall 5347, which is probably later. In the accumulation a marble threshold stone with relief carvings was found. It is likely that this bothros was created and filled prior to wall 5347, because it is round and appears to be truncated by the straight wall. It is about the right size for a pithos similar to the other in this room.
