| Notes: | NB: Excavation of pit has not been completed as of 18/5/07. Therefore the bottom elevation is unknown. Dimensions--L = 2.2 m; W = 1.8 m. Shape--sub/semi-circular. Break of slope-top--sharp. Sides--S, SW = vertical; W, NW, N, NE = concave; E, SE = side of pit interrupted by projecting corner of wall. The W, NW, N, and NE sides are concave because at some point in the past these sides of the pit collapsed inward. Break of slope-base--? Not excavated yet. Base-- not excavated yet. Truncated--no. Fill = B36, B37, B39, B41, B43, B46. Cuts several deposits visible in the section of the pit cut (e.g. B49, B65, B82, B83, B87, B96, B102, B103, B117, B121, B129). 4 June 2012: Note that this cut was not recognized as such in sessions 1 and 2 of 2012, and so was assigned a new context number (C848).
