Description:   Structure materials: subrounded limestone. Material size: ca. 0.20 X 0.15 X 0.10. Material finish: roughly hewn. Material construction: random courses. Material bonding: none.
Notes:   7250 represents the initial phase of the South wall (running E-W) in Room F, East half (the pithos room). Excavation was stopped before reaching the bottom so it is impossible to say how low the wall reaches, no was a foundation trench for this phase found. Contexts (7197 and 7207) will provide a terminus ante quem at best. For simplicities sake, this phase includes a bonded 0.35 m N-S wall segment interfaced on the West side (directly underlying 5345) and a 0.75 m N-S wall segment interfaced on the E side (directly underlying 7145). These are clearly bonded and represent the same construction activity with same materials and technique. Initially this wall was hought to merely be foundation for wall 7249 (the phase directly above) and they are quite similar in style and materials; however, 7250's known height (0.92, plus it continues further down) discounts this as a possibility. Additional support for this being an earlier phase of the wall is found in the two N-S segments (mentioned above) on both sides of the wall. The only clear distinction between 7250 and 7249 is that 7250 juts an additional 0.17 - 0.25 m to the North into the room. 7250 represents the initial known deliniation of space in the region. There is a slight gap in the wall of sediment (seen in the section drawing) without further excavation it is difficult to make out why and whether these represent two different walls.
