Stratum:   lots of small pieces of charcoal, ceramic sherds, small to medium subrounded pebbles
Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This is a small layer of charcoal filled soil in the NW area of the room NE of the courtyard. Running over the earth floor to the west, it abuts wall 7200. This is in the area of the martyr left around stone structure 7092. This is an unevenly sloped deposit that could be a use deposit accumulated over a slump in an earlier foundation or robbing trench.
We have come down on a reddish deposit under this. In the SW portion of the martyred area is the earthen floor found to the S.
This deposit was very compact and floor-like in the south, perhaps because it was used as one. Beneath this is a cut that truncated the foundation trench of wall 7200. This cut was a robbing trench, and it is likely that after it cut the floor and fill was laid down, this charcoal was placed over the cut area and it then slumped slightly.
