Stratum:   20% medium pebbles to cobbles, angular tabular to subrounded spherical. Lots of ceramic sherds and tiles.
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the NE. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context is the fill of a pit in the SE of Room E. There are a great number of inclusions, including large stones nd tiles. These tiles and stones are similar to those of a lower phase of wall 5341, and immediately around the fill. Perhaps, this fill os a dump of materials from when this wall colapsed. A sample was taken to test the contents of the pit for organic materials. A buried wall was discovered at the N edge of this pit. After excavation, we realized how deep this pit was. Excavation stopped when the pit became too deep, and, due to time, we had to move on. This is likely a well because of its size and great depth, assuming that it continues further down.
