Stratum:		30% tile small, medium, and large stones, bone, ceramic, charcoal
Description:		Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes:		7271 is a layer of fill with many tile inclusions. It appears to go under walls 6789 and 6987. This context might also be helpful in understanding the line of stones to the east (7280 -- we wonder about the nature of this structure). PK has revealed a hard, red surface, which slopes up towards the south and west. There are many charcoal inclusions and some large stones embedded in the red soil. In the southwest corner is a small portion of light yellowish clay. North of the clay patch and on the west side of 6789, PK has revealed some mud brick. The structure in the center of this space is still not entirely defined. At this point there is a larger, pier like structure in the centerr, with 2 small lines of stones heading south torward 7040. We took 3 bottom elevations -- 1 at the lowest (83.38), one on top of the mudbrick (83.62), and one on the clay surface (83.73)
