Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The soil color is dark brownish red. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   This is a layer of hard reddish flooring in the eastern portion of the room NE of the courtyard. This was under the pebble floor and has been cut in the south by a small pit, 7217, cut in the west by either foundation or robbing trenches, and cut in the east by the 1960's excavation pit. This floor is also over the cavern system that is under this room, so in several areas it has collapsed. This is particularly problematic in the NW section. Because of these caves, there is the possibility of ceramic and other contamination.
