Description:   Structure materials: limestone. Material size: avg. L 0.34, W 0.30, H 0.22. Material finish: squared tooled. Material construction: squared built to course. Material bonding: none.
Notes:   This structure is a two-walled in the north-east of Room E. It is made of a north south oriented wall in the west, and a east west oriented wall in the north; they meet in the north-west. These are coursed walls of squared stone. It appears that the two walls were built at the same time because of their common builfing materials and tecnique. They also join in the north-west. A piece of water-proof plaster was found in the fill around this structure (7299), which led us to think of this as a cistern. There is, however, no floor surface. Perhaps, this is just the remains of an Hellenistic house, or a stone lined pit. The south wall was removed by the construction of dig 7260, and there are likely more remains of this structure in the room to the E, since the north wall of this structure continues under wall 5341.
