Stratum:   Soils contains about 15% inclusions: angular, subrounded, rounded pebbles (small, medium, and coarse), tile frags., 1 or 2 cobbles
Description:   Top slope of the context is level down to the N. Bottom slope of the context is level down to the NThe soil color is very dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Immediately to the north of the pit or well (cut = B71) and B77, and to the west of B79 is another lens of fill. This lens is producing smaller and fewer stone inclusions that B84 to the east currently is. We are digging this area in hopes of discovering more of the cobble-rich deposit which is now visible all over the NE corner of the excavation area. We came down to a layer of very silty harder soil with smaller pebble inclusions which appears to be the same as the currently visible surface to the west of the pit/well (B71) on this deposit's NW side and so stopped. We failed to find more of the cobble-rich deposit.
