Title: | Disarticulated bones (grave 2015-12?)
Category: | Deposit | |
Notebook: | 1109 | |
Context: | 261 | |
Date: | 2015/6/18 | |
Notes: | [It is at present assumed that these bones are part of the same individual as 251, but until analysis by a specialist has been completed they will be kept separately as bone lot 2015-19a. (S. James)] This skeleton number was given as a convenience even though all the bone seems to be disarticulated and possibly from multiple individuals. The depsoit of the grave/pit was excavated as two contexts 250 and 260 and the bone material was split into 251 and 261 correspondingly. It is possible that some of the bone from 251 and 261 join, and that neither of them represent a single burial.
