Description:   The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty clay.
Notes:   This is the strip N of 250. It is a sibling to 265 and the two should probably be joined, even thought 266 is a bit more compact and contained a bit more of the brown soil and a bit less limestone inclusions. There were no bones and only 1 pottery frag. The fill is a limestone-heavy, almost sterile soil, tht the bone-rich deposits 250 and 260 cut into.
